Perfectionism looks like high standards. It's usually fear in a respectable coat — if it's never finished, it can never be judged.
So the thing stays a draft. Unsent, unstarted, unseen. Safe, and useless. Meanwhile the people doing imperfect, finished work are the ones who learn, because only finished things teach you anything.
Done and flawed beats perfect and imaginary. You can fix what exists. You can't improve what you never let out of your head.
Today: take one thing you've been perfecting and finish it at 'good enough.' Send it, ship it, or show it before you feel ready.
Make it daily — today’s jewel, with a practice fitted to your day.
